It’s not every day that the King comes to town, so we were very proud to welcome His Majesty on this very special day.
The MMUH or Sandwell Hospital and City Hospital Birmingham which they were formerly known before the creation of the new super hospital have been our customer for vending and refreshment equipment for over 20 years. So, imagine how proud we were to learn that the King was going to come and officially open the facility.
It had opened its doors in October 2024 and we were on hand to help out with moving equipment from the old sites to the new, providing temporary equipment and also to discuss new equipment for further down the line, so we had been involved for quite some time now, however, the day of the royal visit apart from being very exciting for us and the West Midlands as a whole was just a normal working day for us.
We turned up on site quietly stocking our machines going from location to location providing all the refreshments that a busy hospital needs for patients, staff, visitors and the King of England!
So, a very special day for Vendaid Ltd and the West Midlands, and well done to everyone involved in delivering such an amazing facility for our community and our region
